Genomic and clinical correlates of belzutifan treatment in renal cell carcinoma (RCC): A retrospective analysisof 150 RCC patients

Key Findings

  • Evaluation of molecular profiling data from 150 belzutifan-treated RCCs showed that HIF-2α RNA expression alone did not predict treatment response, while responders demonstrated enrichment of PI3K/AKT/mTOR and DNA damage response pathway alterations.
  • This studies’ findings show how integrated genomic, transcriptomic, and immune microenvironment profiling can identify biologically distinct genitourinary cancer subgroups and potential biomarkers of therapeutic response and resistance.
