Antigen presentation suppression as a hallmark of immune evasion and poor outcomes in small cell lung cancer

Key Findings

  • Transcriptomic analysis of SCLC samples from large real-world and clinical trial cohorts identified a predominant classical antigenpresenting MHCs (CAMs)-low subset characterized by immune evasion, reduced expression of several druggable targets, and
    worse outcomes following chemoimmunotherapy.
  • This study demonstrates that integrated molecular and immune profiling can identify immunosuppressive tumor states and
potentially inform development of biomarker-driven therapeutic strategies in SCLC.
