Association of FBXW7 mutation with prolonged survival in microsatellite instability-high colorectal cancertreated with immune checkpoint blockade

Key Findings from this Session

  • In a cohort of 29,446 CRCs profiled by Caris, FBXW7-mutated MSI-H tumors were associated with improved overall survival following immune checkpoint blockade, supporting FBXW7 mutation as a potential biomarker of response to immunotherapy in MSI-H CRC.
  • This study demonstrates how comprehensive molecular profiling can identify clinically meaningful genomic subgroups in colorectal cancer, enabling biomarker discovery and refinement of targeted treatment strategies.
