CarisPath™ Urologic Pathology Services

Caris Life Sciences’ ™ CarisPath™ expert pathology services bring diagnostic excellence to urologic pathology services with expert physicians and unsurpassed service. Caris is integrating new technologies and emerging science into daily practice ensuring that physicians and patients have access to the most informative and relevant diagnostic information available.

In addition to advanced pathology services, Caris is focused on the development of a highly-accurate and precise blood-based diagnostics platform to address unmet clinical needs for prostate cancer patients — from screening and diagnosis to prognosis and therapeutic guidance — enabling physicians to provide these patients with precise and effective treatment. Through development of the Carisome Platform, in the near term Caris Life Sciences plans to bring additional clarity to prostate cancer diagnosis in men with an elevated PSA.

Rajal B. Shah MD leads the CarisPath Urologic Pathology department. Dr. Shah served as Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology and Urology as well as the Director of the Urologic Pathology Fellowship program at University of Michigan; has published over 90 peer-reviewed articles plus several books and chapters; and has broad clinical and translational research experience.
