Peggy Carter joined Caris Life Sciences in September 2022 and serves as Senior Vice President of Quality and Regulatory, overseeing Regulatory Affairs, Translational Science, and Quality. In this role, she is responsible for driving strategic integration and operational excellence across functions that are critical to ensuring compliance, patient safety, and the highest standards of quality.
Prior to Caris, Ms. Carter was Vice President, Head of Regulatory Affairs for Medical Devices at Novartis, where she led global regulatory strategy for diagnostics supporting therapeutic development. She has brought over 25 years of experience in regulatory affairs, quality systems, and translational science across the life sciences industry. Her leadership has been instrumental in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and advancing Caris’ commitment to improve patient outcomes through precision medicine.
Ms. Carter holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Earlham College and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
