Amalio Telenti, M.D., Ph.D., is Executive Vice President and Chief Data Officer at Vir Biotechnology Inc. He was previously a professor of genomics in the Department of Integrative Structural and Computational Biology at Scripps Research. His research focuses on the use of machine learning in the analysis of large-scale omic data, and in the analysis of clinical trial and real-world medical data. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Swiss Personalized Health Network and an elected member of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences.
