Peggy Yena - Caris Life SciencesPeggy Yena joined the company in 2012 as a Director of Clinical Data Operations. As a result of her performance and technical knowledge, she assumed responsibilities of a newly created role – Director of IT Enterprise Testing and Compliance.

About her role

“I lead the IT Solutions Team, and I’m responsible for working as a cross- functional liaison between members of the IT team and business unit end users in order to define testing strategies for both new and existing systems and applications. The team is also responsible for ensuring that our testing activities are consistent with Caris’ Software and System Development Life Cycle processes as well as validating new systems under the same guidelines. Our Lab is currently CAP, ISO 15189:2012 and CLIA Accredited so maintaining an overall IT quality testing and compliance strategy to support our accreditations and requirements for software development and testing is very important.”
