Caris’ total compensation program includes competitive base salary, awards and recognition, development opportunities, PTO/Holiday pay, health/wellness benefits and savings plans (401(k) and Roth). These elements, in total, create a well-rounded and competitive total compensation program designed to attract, retain, and motivate key talent. Elements of our health/wellness and retirement saving benefits are listed below.
Medical: As a leading healthcare provider, we understand the value of quality medical care. Caris pays the vast majority of that cost and, based upon extensive employer benchmarking, Caris contributions are considerably more employee-friendly than most employer plans.
Dental: Both of Caris’ dental plan options encourage preventative care and make provisions for most of the dental services you and your covered family members may need.
Vision: Chances are either you or a family member needs glasses or contact lenses to see. The Caris vision plan helps pay the cost for these, as well as periodic vision exams. The plan features an expanded network of national providers.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability: Caris provides full-time employees with short- and long-term disability income benefits. These benefits are provided at no cost to you.
Employee Assistance Program: Through Caris’ EAP, you and your family members may access assistance for a wide variety of issues and concerns that affect your lives at home and in the workplace.
Basic Life/AD&D and Optional Life/AD&D: Caris provides full-time employees with group life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost to the employee. Employees will receive two (2) times their basic annual salary up to a maximum of $500,000 in coverage. In addition, you may elect supplemental employee, spouse and child coverage.
Flexible Spending Accounts: Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) provide you with an important tax advantage that can help you pay healthcare and dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis.
Paid Time Off: Caris believes that employees should have opportunities to enjoy time away from work to help balance their lives, and Caris recognizes that employees have diverse needs for time off. The paid time off (PTO) policy is flexibly designed to meet the needs of our employees. The benefit of PTO is that it promotes a flexibly approach to time off to cover vacation, illness, disability, appointments, emergencies or other needs that require time off from work.
401K: Caris is committed to providing you with the resources you need to help attain your retirement goals by providing a rich company match to help in your pursuit. Caris will match 100 percent of the first 3 percent an employee contributes, then 50 cents on the dollar for the next 2 percent, up to the IRS maximum. In addition, all Caris 401(k) contributions are always 100 percent vested.
Legal Plan: Employees have access to valuable legal resources covering most common legal needs.
Pet Insurance: Group discount available for employees seeking insurance protection for their pets.
Tuition Assistance: Educational assistance is available for accredited courses of an established degree plan (associates, bachelors or masters degree) or a certification program.
Please note: The plans and programs detailed above are subject to change. In order to meet its needs under changing conditions, Caris, at its discretion, may terminate or change any of these plans, programs or statements at any time. Part-time employees may not be eligible for all benefits outlined. Human Resources will confirm each employee’s benefit options and eligibility provisions.
